"Narragansett Indians." Narragansett Indians. Dixon Technology Groupe. 1 Oct. 2007 <http://00002u9.previewcoxhosting.com/>.
this website describes the early days of this tribe. it explanes that this tribe started 30000 years ago. the tribe was from rhode island. this page also told me how these indians used to hollow out trees into cannoes that cold hold up to 40 people. this page goes into the history of these indians. This is the best page that I have found so far about these Indians.

Sultzman, Lee Sultzman. "Narragansett History." Narragansett History. 7 July 2003. 2 Oct. 2007 <http://www.dickshovel.com/Narra.html>.
this is going to be a very handy website for this project. this website told of the population of the tribe witch was 10,000 in 1610, but by 1674 this had dropped to 5,000.the name of this tribe means people of the small point. the history is discused rather thuroghuly. This website also says a lot about wars they’ve faught.

"Narraganset Indian Tribe History." Narraganset Indian Tribe History. Handbook of American Indians, 1906. 2 Oct. 2007 <http://www.accessgenealogy.com/native/tribes/narraganset/narragansethist.htm>.
this website is not as informative as the other two that i have been to, however it still has quite a bit of information that i think will help me to finish this project. alot of the information that ive found has been the same info that i have found on the other websites. The Narraganset were ruled by eight chiefs each of whom had his own particular territory, but was subject to the head chief, who lived at their principal village, called Narraganset.

Maciver, Rod Maciver. "Penobscot Indian Nation." Officalwebsite of the Penobscot Indian Tribe. 2004. Penobscot Webmasters. 2 Oct. 2007 <http://www.penobscotnation.org/>.
this website is not going to help me with very much. it is a website about the current indian reservation and information about that. these indains are best known for there backwards basket weaving. there place of residence is in maine. it also stated that they built there homes on the water. This is not a good informational page.

"Penawahpskewi Indian Nation." Penawahpskewi Indian Nation. 2004. 2 Oct. 2007 <http://www.penobscotnation.org/museum/pana'wahb'skk'eighistory.htm>.
the penobscot people have faithfully served in every american war. witch i think they deffinately should. they live in america why woudlent they defend it. they say that like we owe them something for it. this website is mostly all about war and the penobscot indians. This lead to prolong legal battles and public smear campaigns against the Penobscot and Passamaquoddy. This website wont be helpful as well.

Billington, James H. "The Narragansett Indian Tribe." Americas Story From the American Library. American Library. 3 Oct. 2007 <http://www.americaslibrary.gov/cgi-bin/page.cgi/es/ri/tribe_1>.
this website talks a little about when the europeans came into contact with this tribe. this website also talks a little about the war they were involved in. it also describes what the indian tribe is up to now.

"Native Languages of the Americas: Narragansett (Nipmuc." Native American Languages. Google. 3 Oct. 2007 <http://www.native-languages.org/narragansett.htm>.
this page is all about the languages of the tribe. it also talks of languages of other tribes. this will not help me gather much information other than that of the native languages.
"The Narragansett Indian Tribe." E Sortment. 2002. Google. 3 Oct. 2007 <http://mimi.essortment.com/narragansettind_rios.htm>.
discuses the two smallpox epdimics that hit this the narragaset indians. there leader died and there tribe was broken. Narragansett war chief Miontonimo led 900 warriors against the Mohegan capital at Shetucket. The Narragansett were getting the better of the fight until Miontonimo was captured. Without their leader the Narragansetts broke off the battle. Soon Miontonimo had been tomahawked to death by the brother of Mohegan Chief Uncas.

"Historical Perspective of the Narragansett Indian Tribe." Narragansett Indian Tribe. 3 Oct. 2007 <http://00002u9.previewcoxhosting.com/history.htm>.
great website for this project, i need to come back to it. talks about the entire history of the tribe. also about the reservations of these indians.

Handbook Of American Indi. "Narraganset Indian Tribe History." Access Geneiology, Indian Tribe History. 2004. Genealogy.Com. 3 Oct. 2007 <http://www.accessgenealogy.com/native/tribes/narraganset/narragansethist.htm>.

Hey Will! Your page looks awesome! I noticed you misspelled "carpenter" and you had a couple of punctuation/grammar errors - so I went ahead and fix those for you. My wife and I went to the Mayan Riveria for our honeymoon and visited Chitzen Itza. It was sweet!
