in this story it explains how when the Pilgrims came over from England and the Native Americans helped. thee were four different tribes that helped them and they were the Creek, Seminoles, Choctaw, and Cherokee. the cherokee indians helped out the Spaniards. Sequoyah, a Cherokee studied the Roman alphabet and made a Cherokee alphabet which consisted of eighty-six letters.
