Columbus found the natives. My group is the south indians which include Cherokee, Choctaw, Seminole, Powhaten, Creek, as well as others who were not mentioned. When John Smith arrived at Jamestown, he had a ton of fish. There was almost too much food for everybody. The Cherokee women of North Carolina were very very good cooks. The Cherokee also studied the Roman Alphabet and made a Cherokee alphabet of 86 symbols.
